Nexans fibre cable TBC is designed for following installation conditions :
- Suitable for use in ducts or direct burial
- Designed for direct ST and SC termination
- Provides excellent rodent resistance
- Up to 24 fibres
- Compact design
Nexans fibre cable TBC can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.
For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit your application: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) or GIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).
Installation
- Set cutter blade at 2.00 mm and cut the outer jacket and the corrugated steel (Take care not to cut the inner sheath)
- Remove both in one operation up to a maximum of 5 m (to strip greater than 5 m use multiple strips of less than 5 m)
- Once stripped you have a LSZH-FR cable
- Set the cutter blade at 1.0 mm
- Cut the inner jacket and remove it.
- Cut aramid yarns
