Locking LC fibre cords compatible with standard adaptors
Nexans has introduced a range of secure locking patch cords and accessories, created for applications where security is paramount.
Designed to prevent unauthorised and inadvertent changes in highly sensitive applications and secure IT networks, the new products protect against unauthorised disconnection, or prevent access to unused ports.
Developed for environments such as military, educational, healthcare and data centre locations - Secure Lock is initially launched with a range of fibre LC format products. These are fully compatible with Standard LC adaptors, which is a significant advantage over systems which require a keyed adaptor.
Eight coloured locking boot options are available for the patch cords with matching coloured keys. A ninth purple key acts as a master-key and unlocks all colours. The patch cords are available in a variety of lengths and the range is completed with locking dustcovers for unused ports and an extension handle to provide easy access in high density cabinets.
