Paris, December 19, 2005 - As of February 1st, 2006, Véronique Guillot-Pelpel, Senior Corporate Vice President Communications since 2000, is appointed Corporate Vice President Human Resources and Communications of Nexans.
Véronique Guillot-Pelpel is member of Nexans’ Executive Committee since October 2001.
Véronique Guillot-Pelpel is a Graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris and holds a Master degree in Public Law at Paris II Assas University. From 1971 to 1975, she was in charge of Public Relations at BASF in France. From 1975 to 1983, she was in charge of Information and External Relations with “Entreprise et Progrès”, an employers’ association. From 1983 to 1990, she was Communications Director of Compagnie Bancaire. In 1990, she was appointed Communications Senior VP with Paribas, and in 1997 became a Member of the Executive Committee and Human Resources and Communications Senior VP of this Group.
François Saint-Dizier, currently Senior Corporate VP Human Resources of Nexans, will become, at the same date, Counsel of the Chairman.
