Paris, 29 November 2004 - RIPS, a Nexans company, announces its presence to the Pollutec 2004 exhibition which takes place from November 30 to December 3 in Lyon (France) Eurexpo, Hall 10 (booth 646).

With a grinding capacity of 20,000 tons p.a., and over 30 years of experience, RIPS, in compliance with its operating license, is able to recycle under the best current economic and technical conditions such cable waste as manufacturing offcuts or discarded cables, made of non-ferrous metals, whether armored or unarmored, tarred or untarred, as well as plastic extrusion drains, and strips, wires and cables made of bare non-ferrous metals.
As it is paramount, RIPS ensures the accountability and compliance of waste treatment for its customers according to the complex european waste regulations. For each waste, RIPS files a preliminary authorization application so as to ensure full transparency before, during and after the recycling process.
