Exclusively designed for specialized distribution agencies, this is the first collection and recycling service for cable scraps that compensates electricians.

Collected cable waste is processed at one of our recycling centers. The recovered materials are then sent to specialized channels, including Nexans, for the production of new cables.

The collection of your cable scraps is carried out as follows:

1. Go to the agency counter and inform the staff of the reason for your visit. You will be given a cart with bins to deposit your sorted or mixed cables.
2. Once your bins are filled, head to the CableLoop terminal/scale to weigh your waste.
3. Weigh the bins one by one, following the instructions displayed at the station, with assistance from your sales representative.
4. At the end, the total transaction will appear on the screen, allowing you to print a ticket (paper and/or digital) to present at the counter.
5. Your financial compensation will then be credited to your account, and a sales certificate will be issued (digitally and/or on paper).

You can choose whether or not to sort your cable scraps. However, sorting aluminum and copper cables beforehand gives you access to more advantageous buyback rates compared to bulk deposits.

With CableLoop, we take back three categories of cable scraps:

• Sheathed copper cables
• Bare copper cables
• Mixed cables: including unsorted copper and low-voltage cables (TV, LAN, telephone, etc.)

Depending on the agency, a credit note and/or points equivalent to the transaction value will be credited to your customer account. A payment delay may apply depending on the agency.
